Trattoria cuts $4,560 in annual energy costs
Challenge: 14-year-old walk-in cooler couldn't hold 3°C during summer service. Compressor running nonstop. Owner was days away from replacing the unit for $18,000.
What we did: Found 3/8" of compacted dust and grease on the condenser coil and a partially blocked drain line. Foamed the coils, combed the fins, cleared the drain, and balanced the fan blades.
Result: Walk-in hit 2°C within 2 hours and now cycles normally. Monthly kWh dropped 18%. No compressor replacement needed.
